that's pretty short but intense existential narative on our existence and perception.

I guess if you get as much money that you "want" and you have the family thing as well that is 2 out of 3 but then again it "should" make you "happy", so there you go! Done deal, right?

You don't need to worry about the money so focus on the family and happiness and that is 3 out of 3!

There is a reason some say that "money is the root of all evil". If it keeps one from happiness why make it so necessary?

GREAT post Corre

A response, in one word : "Leverage"

If we want to have "4th home kind of money", time with the family and happiness then we have to be able to leverage our time, money, knowledge and effort. Our work has to be scaleable. So, in other words, whilst typing this out at 9.29am on Friday morning, I need to be in a trade on the Stock Market, have an internet based information product that is satifying a targets groups "need" - 24/7/365 and a few HMO properties that are positively cashflowing (if there capital appreciation too, thats a bonus).

That should make you "Time Wealthy" and "Financially free"...

Keep up the great writing.

Cheers

Paul
P.S. I believe that the quote "Money is the root of all evil" is a mis-quote. Its "The LOVE of money is the root of all evil"
